MyCam lets you have some good fun with a webcam. It places a wide range of filters at your disposal and it lets you make manual tweaks as well. The software comes with a fair amount of options and not just for adding a twist to your webcam footage. It lets you decide where to broadcast, create a snapshot library and more.

The software is free to try, without any significant limitations. It comes in a small package and it can be installed quickly and easily on any modern Windows system. There is no need to install any prerequisite tools and you don't have to sacrifice too many resources.

Your webcam's footage is displayed directly on the application's main user interface, on which you can also find a series of useful controls, neatly organized on separate tabs. You can get started right away, by clicking and dragging a number of sliders, which control the image's brightness, contrast, hue, saturation and other aspects. Additionally, you can apply pre-defined filters color filters and distortion effects, on the next two tabs, with a single click.

If you have plans to show off your new effects in other places than traditional chat applications, you can bring up additional broadcasting options on a separate window. The software lets you stream to a RTMP server of your choice and you can also set it to require a username and password.

Besides a webcam's footage, the software can broadcast videos you have saved on your hard drive. You can load a video through a standard browsing option and apply the same filters and tweaks.
